Developing all written narrative and visual concepts for Swisse and Earth Choice brands. Providing creative direction support to the CD. Managing copywriters and freelance staff when necessary. Creating campaigns and messaging to meet brand requirements and target audience. High level pitch presentations and communication strategy.

High level concept and copy work for brands: Dick Smith, Pet Barn, Emirates, Rebel Sport, Move. Client facing, the role developed campaigns from social all the way through to TVC/film. Interrogating briefs and working closely with production and media for best results.

 GEORGE PATTERSON Y&R -  SENIOR COPYWRITER

Creative concept and copywriting for brands: Revlon, Jagermeister, Emirates, LG Electronics. The role was intended to be contract only but I was employed full time and worked across the Y&R group which at the time was GP, VML, Ideaworks in Sydney.

QLD GOV - SENIOR COMMS & ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN PRODUCER

Creating and managing the road safety campaign and off shoot campaigns. Managed a large network of suppliers and stakeholders including high level ministers. Responsible for hiring, budgetary management, reports, proposals, and all creative communications and events associated with the campaign. The success of this campaign meant I was offered a higher level position but my partner was offered a position in Sydney and we moved shortly after.

WYNDHAM WORLDWIDE - COPYWRITER TO MANAGER

Copywriting and comms production for large network of hotels and resorts and travel sites. Role included writing and art direction for all digital and social components including the widely circulated travel magazine. My success in this role saw me move from entry level copywriter to copy manager second in charge. During my time here we were responsible for rebranding and repositioning the global company.
